In 2017, with my album “Les choses de la vie”, I shared about myself like never before. The desire of motherhood, loneliness, love, fights and disappointments... Each song revealed something about myself and shared a simple story of my life with those who have supported me for so many years. I wanted to go further and echo all the songs from my album in this collection of autobiographic stories. With “Les choses de ma vie”, I wanted to pursue this conversation with my audience and tell them a little more about who I am, what I have gone through and what I am still facing. Life is a puzzle that we try to build as we can, that is why this book is not a continuous story, but a succession of pieces that constitute my life. No chronology, no completeness, but memories that resurface with no order, like when we go through a photo album. Each short story refers one of my songs and tells the story, with less poetry, but even more truth.
